Targeted: IHG Business Rewards pays 6X through Dec 31

What happened

IHG is paying registered Business Rewards members 6X points per dollar on eligible bookings made from October 1 through December 31, 2026, double the usual 3X rate. Stays and events must be finished by July 30, 2027.

The extra points post to the booker's linked One Rewards account for travel arranged for other members, on top of the guest's own earnings. Members must register before the first qualifying booking. Anyone who joined a prior Business Rewards promotion must register again. The offer cannot be combined with other promotions and pays no Business Rewards points on the booker's own travel. Each stay or event is capped at 120,000 points, equivalent to $20,000 in qualifying spend. There is no limit on how many bookings can qualify. 3 of the 6X points are base earnings that count toward elite status. The bonus 3 points do not, and elite bonuses do not apply. Nearly 7,000 IHG properties participate. The promotion is technically subject to invitation, though any One Rewards member can add a Business Rewards account.
