What happened
Hilton Honors is offering a 120% bonus on point purchases of 5,000 or more from October 7 through November 21, 2026. The calendar-year cap rises to 240,000 points before bonus, from the usual 80,000, so a maximum buy credits 528,000 points at 0.45 cents each.
The bonus is the program's highest yet and cuts the usual 1 cent rate by 55%. Points post within 48 hours. They do not help elite qualification and cannot be refunded. Buys do not stack with other offers. Checkout is on Points.com, which may not code as Hilton or travel spend. A different bonus can appear after login, including a tripled purchase. Either Hilton or Points.com can end the bonus at any time.
The Points Guy puts Hilton points at 0.4 cents, which is not a case for stocking up. Award prices have moved higher, so a cash stay or a fifth-night-free award should be priced first.
Confirm the personal bonus after login and buy only for a stay already priced against cash, since purchases are final.
