What happened
Selected Atmos Rewards members can buy Alaska points at 1.79 cents each through October 19, 2026 by purchasing at least 30,000 points. The 110% bonus applies on up to 100,000 points per transaction, counted before extra points are added. The 1.79-cent price excludes a 7.5% tax recovery fee collected at payment.
Lower buys cost more. Buys of 15,000 to 29,000 points get 100% at 1.88 cents. Buys of 5,000 to 14,000 get 90% at 1.98 cents. Nothing extra below 5,000. AwardWallet staff have seen both 110% and 100% offers. Non-elite members cannot acquire more than 150,000 Points.com points in a calendar year, bonus excluded. Silver through Titanium members have no cap. AwardWallet user data shows purchases posting in 16 hours on average.
AwardWallet users redeem Atmos Rewards at 2.34 cents on average. Economy and premium-economy awards often fail to beat a 1.79-cent purchase. Fiji Airways business class at 75,000 points each way is where a purchase can undercut cash.
Buy enough to hit the 30,000-point tier before October 19, 2026 only if a high-value award is already bookable, otherwise skip.
