What happened
IHG is paying 10,000 One Rewards points to new paid InterContinental Ambassador members who complete two qualifying nights by December 31, 2026. Enrollment must be purchased from October 18 through December 31, 2026 for $225 or 45,000 points. A qualifying stay is at least one night at a qualifying rate with more than $30 spent per night at participating IHG hotels.
The complimentary weekend night that comes with Ambassador can count as one of those two nights even if spend stays under $30. Stays completed before joining do not qualify. The bonus covers only one room per stay and can be earned only once. Allow up to six weeks for the points to post. Royal Ambassador members are excluded, as is anyone who joined Ambassador at no charge or through an IHG employee discount. Targeting is unclear, and the offer may be invite-only. Eligibility at non-InterContinental IHG brands is also unconfirmed.
Pay for Ambassador by December 31, 2026 only if two qualifying nights can be completed by then at a hotel that counts.
