What happened
Chase and IHG launched the IHG One Rewards Premier Select Credit Card with a welcome bonus of 200,000 points after $5,000 spend in the first three months. The bonus runs through November 18, 2026. Adding an authorized user in that window earns another 10,000 points. The $350 annual fee is not waived the first year.
Current or previous cardmembers who received a new cardmember bonus in the last 24 months are ineligible. Chase 5/24 is expected to apply. The card earns 12 points per dollar on IHG stays. Dining and other travel earn 6 points per dollar. All other purchases earn 3 points per dollar. Advertised earn above 12 on hotel stays includes Platinum elite points.
Cardholders receive automatic Platinum Elite and 20 elite night credits each calendar year. An anniversary free night covers 60,000 points or less. The fourth award night is free. Quarterly $75 dining vouchers reach $300 a year only when each is used on a single stay before it expires. Calendar-year spend of $25,000 grants Diamond Elite through the following year. Apply by November 18, 2026 if IHG stays are frequent and Chase 5/24 still has room.
