Chase raises Aeroplan Pay Yourself Back to 2 cents for the annual fee

What happened

As of October 4, 2026, Chase Aeroplan cardholders can offset the $195 annual fee at 2 cents per point through Pay Yourself Back, up from 1.25 cents.

Chase recently raised the annual fee from $95 and added benefits. Pay Yourself Back against travel charges is unchanged at 1.25 cents per point. Cardholders previously needed 7,600 points to erase the $95 fee and now need 9,750 points to erase the $195 fee, which leaves the hike only slightly more expensive in points. Doctor of Credit's readers spotted the 2-cent annual-fee rate. Chase did not publish an announcement.
