What happened
Doctor of Credit reports targeted AmEx Offers that credit 1,200 Membership Rewards after $150 spent at Amazon, or 500 points after $50, each of which can be completed 3 times through December 5, 2026. Cardholders who see an offer must enroll in AmEx Offers before Amazon spending will credit.
Account reloads at Amazon can qualify. Shop With Points redemptions still trigger the offer, since the charge posts to the card. A single large purchase may not complete all 3 instances. That has worked before but is not assured this time. Some Shop With Points Amazon deals require 1,429 points.
Not every cardholder sees the same spend and points version. Enroll if an Amazon bonus appears in AmEx Offers and split the spend across 3 charges before December 5, 2026.
