What happened
Bilt will drop World of Hyatt transfers from 1:1 to 4:3 on January 1, 2027 for every member, including holders of the $495-per-year Palladium card. Four Bilt points will then buy three Hyatt points. Booking a 60,000-point Hyatt stay will take 80,000 Bilt points, up from 60,000, or 33% more.
The cut has no 1:1 carve-out and no product-change path to keep the old ratio. Chase already moved most Ultimate Rewards cards to 4:3 for Hyatt but kept 1:1 on Sapphire Reserve personal and business. Bilt is not matching that exception.
Transfers stay at 1:1 through the end of 2026. Airline and hotel partners besides Hyatt are unchanged.
Move Bilt points to Hyatt before January 1, 2027 if those points are meant for a Hyatt stay; otherwise leave them for Bilt's remaining partners.
