Bilt cuts Hyatt transfers from 1:1 to 4:3 on January 1

Bilt Rewards will move World of Hyatt transfers from an even ratio to 4:3 on January 1, leaving Chase Sapphire Reserve as the main remaining 1:1 path. The current rate holds through December 31.

Chase has already worsened Hyatt transfers from Sapphire Preferred and Ink Business Preferred. Bilt has never offered a Hyatt transfer bonus. A roughly three-month window remains to earn more Bilt points before transferring. Transfers on December 31 may fail if systems are overwhelmed or go down. It is unclear how much Bilt could do to fix failed last-minute transfers under the new arrangement.

Transfer at 1:1 before December 31 and do not wait until the last day.
