Amex adds 30% to Membership Rewards transfers to Hilton to Oct 14

Expired

What happened

American Express is converting 1,000 US Membership Rewards into 2,600 Hilton Honors points from September 1 through October 14, 2026. That is a 30% bonus on the usual 1:2 rate. Transfers must complete between 12:00 a.m. MT on September 1 and 11:59 p.m. MT on October 14.

US Membership Rewards holders enrolled in Hilton Honors are eligible. Accounts linked only to legacy cards or Amex checking products do not qualify. Accounts American Express has flagged for abuse are also excluded. The offer cannot be combined with other promotions. American Express may alter or terminate it at any time.

A transfer must be at least 1,000 Membership Rewards. The bonus portion may take up to eight weeks to credit. Points that have transferred cannot return to Membership Rewards.

Transfer at least 1,000 Membership Rewards before the October 14 cutoff only against a Hilton stay that can be booked today.
