American Express is marking 60 years of the Gold Card by covering an Uber One membership for a year, up to $96, as a statement credit. Enrollment is required by Oct. 30 and the credit is available once.
The same card also loads as much as $120 in Uber Cash each calendar year, paid in monthly amounts of up to $10 for U.S. rides and Uber Eats. Unused monthly Cash is forfeited at the end of each month. Uber only applies that Cash when the Gold Card is saved as a payment method.
The Points Guy groups the anniversary credit with other Gold perks that help cover the $325 annual fee, and notes that those credits also require enrollment.
Enroll by Oct. 30 and keep the Gold Card on file in Uber so monthly Cash is not forfeited.
