Allegiant Air announced plans to launch a new first-class cabin beginning in 2027, joining other discounters like Frontier and JetBlue in adding premium options. The new "Allegiant First" cabin will feature spacious recliners with calf rests, cocktail trays, and extra storage, arranged in a two-by-two configuration across the first two rows (eight seats total). The carrier plans to phase these seats onto select aircraft, with a likely debut next spring. Additionally, Allegiant announced that complimentary soft drinks, sodas, juice, and water will be available on board starting August 1. Passengers holding the airline's co-branded credit card will receive additional beverage options for free, including alcoholic drinks, coffee, protein shakes, and sports drinks. Tickets for the new cabin go on sale in mid-August
