What happened
Air France will open a two-level, 29,000-square-foot lounge at JFK's new Terminal One in the first quarter of 2027, with space for more than 400 guests. It will be the airline's largest lounge outside Paris and about three times the size of the current Terminal 1 club.
Air France and KLM business-class passengers plus La Premiere customers flying to Paris CDG will have access, as will SkyTeam Elite Plus members including Delta Gold Medallion and above on eligible itineraries. Not every Air France passenger qualifies. La Premiere guests are promised an exclusive dining area with a la carte meals from a renowned French chef, and Flying Blue Ultimate members are expected to get a dedicated section. A beauty-treatment space is also planned.
The new terminal replaces today's Terminal 1 after the opening slipped from 2026. Air France is expected to be the largest airline there, with about six daily roundtrips to Paris. Delta's Terminal 4 Delta One Lounge remains larger than this planned club.
There is nothing to book now, so watch the first-quarter 2027 Terminal One date if Air France or SkyTeam is a regular path through JFK.
