Aeroplan has updated its redemption process for Calm Air, moving from a manual phone-only booking system to online availability. Starting July 22, 2026, Calm Air award space is bookable directly on aircanada.com, the Air Canada mobile app, and through Aeroplan's call centre. The key benefit is the ability to combine Calm Air flights with Aeroplan's 50+ partner airlines on a single award ticket. Previously, redemptions were isolated to Calm Air only, requiring separate bookings for connections (e.g., Air Canada to Winnipeg, then Calm Air to Churchill). Now, itineries like Toronto to Churchill can be booked as one ticket. Calm Air serves communities in Manitoba and Nunavut, including Churchill, Arviat, and Baker Lake. Awards are priced on the Air Canada and Select Partners dynamic pricing chart. A live example cited is a 75-minute flight from Rankin Inlet to Naujaat (Repulse Bay) for 15,000 Aeroplan points plus $39 in taxes and fees
