What happened
Aeroplan has added Emirates Premium Economy to its award chart, effective July 21, 2026, making Emirates the first Aeroplan partner with all four cabins bookable. Emirates is in the Select Partner group, meaning dynamic pricing applies. For North America to the Atlantic zone (covering Canada-Dubai), published starting rates range from 32,500 points (Economy) to 90,000 (First), with Premium Economy starting at 50,000. Launch day searches show Dubai-Montreal Premium Economy at 106,800 points, roughly half the cost of Business (236,800), with no carrier surcharges. Concurrently, Emirates First Class redemptions are restricted to Aeroplan 35K status or higher, aligning with Emirates Skywards' own elite-only rule implemented in May 2025. A minimum age of nine applies to all first-class passengers
