What happened
- Eligible Brands: The policy now lists 24 specific brands where the match applies (including Fairmont, Raffles, Swissôtel, Sofitel, Pullman, Novotel, Mercure, Ibis, etc.) rather than listing exclusions.
- Discount Structure: Swissôtel is no longer grouped with Raffles and Fairmont for a 10% discount; it now receives the standard 25% additional discount.
- Booking Channel: Users must compare app prices to app prices and web to web.
- Phantom Prices: Prices on third-party sites that are not actually bookable are excluded.
- Points Refunds: Bookings paid with points (fully or partially) will be refunded in points. The policy had not been updated since 2019
