What happened
Hyatt dropped the 500-point nightly bonus on new-hotel stays, including awards, and replaced it with 2X points only on the New Hotel Member Bonus Offer rate, capped at 25,000 per stay. World of Hyatt members must provide a membership number at booking and stay.
Double points apply only to base points on eligible rates and incidental charges. Stays where the member chooses Bonus Miles are ineligible. Consecutive nights at the same hotel count as one stay even with a checkout and return. Participating hotels rotate as new properties open, each with its own offer window. The current list includes Grand Hyatt Grand Cayman Resort & Spa and Hyatt Centric Querétaro.
Book the New Hotel Member Bonus Offer rate when 2X points, capped at 25,000, beat other rates on the same stay.
