W South Beach, a W brand hotel in Miami Beach that has been part of Marriott since 2009 and was last renovated in 2020, will close on August 20, 2026. As of that date, Marriott will no longer operate the property, resulting in a permanent termination of its Marriott affiliation. The hotel will not reopen until further notice, and the new operator is currently unknown. The last day to book a stay is August 17, 2026.
