What happened
Marriott is taking 20% off the public Standard Rate for Bonvoy members on prepaid weekend stays from November 15 through 29, 2026. Non-members get 15%. LoyaltyLobby says bookings have to be in by Sunday.
The rate is for a standard room at single or double occupancy and has to be prepaid on a Marriott direct channel at least 5 days before arrival. Bonvoy points still post on member bookings. Most hotels only sell Thursday through Sunday, and a Friday night is required if Thursday is included. Properties in parts of the Middle East sell Wednesday through Saturday instead. Some resorts open any day. Rooms are scarce and go to whoever books first. Prices appear in local currency and usually omit taxes and fees. The discount does not combine with other offers. Bookings of 10 rooms or more do not qualify.
Luxury and lifestyle brands such as Ritz-Carlton and St. Regis are excluded, with more brands left out in Asia-Pacific. Escapes-style pricing can show up on other dates as well.
Compare the Escapes rate by Sunday and book only if a prepaid, non-refundable room with a 5-day advance still works.
