What happened
United MileagePlus Premier Silver and higher members enrolled in Marriott Bonvoy could convert miles to Bonvoy at 1:1.2 through 11:59 p.m. EST on November 30, 2025. The usual RewardsPlus ratio is 1:1.
No separate RewardsPlus registration was required. Members signed in and converted miles to points. Transfers required a 500-mile minimum and a 200,000-mile calendar-year cap. Account names on both programs had to match. Converted Bonvoy points, including the 20% bonus, were set to post within 24 hours. Marriott Titanium and Ambassador elites could register for United Silver to qualify.
AwardWallet user redemptions put 1,000 United miles at about $19.60 and 1,200 Bonvoy points at about $11.16. Airline-to-hotel transfers usually return less than award flights.
