Statusmatch.com is selling paid Lotusmiles matches to Vietnam Airlines Platinum at $359, which maps to SkyTeam Elite Plus for 12 months from approval. Titanium is $129-159 and Gold is $219-239, both SkyTeam Elite. Fees differ for airline versus hotel status.
Matches come from 50 frequent flyer programs and 20 hotel loyalty programs. Hotel matches cannot reach top-tier Lotusmiles status. Only residents of a listed set of countries can apply, and a passport or driver's license is required. There is no published end date and the offer can be pulled at any time.
Vietnam Airlines does not offer elite upgrade perks. SkyTeam Elite Plus lounge access is limited and does not include domestic Delta lounges in the United States.
Skip the $359 Platinum match unless SkyTeam Elite Plus is needed on trips already booked.
