What happened
Rove is paying 1,000 miles, double the usual 500, to both a new member who joins with a referral link and the person who refers them from September 15 through 11:59 p.m. EDT on September 18, 2026.
Miles to Memories says the new member's miles post at account creation with no requirements. Frequent Miler says the referrer bonus posts only after the new member has earned 250 miles. Transfers to airline partners are generally 1:1.
1,000 miles will not go far toward a flight or hotel stay on their own. Use a referral link before 11:59 p.m. EDT on September 18, 2026, and do not count the referrer bonus until the new member earns 250 miles.
