What happened
American Express is paying 30,000 bonus Membership Rewards points through a targeted Amex Offer when $2,500 or more is spent on All Nippon Airways tickets booked by November 30, 2026. The ticket must be purchased directly from ANA. It has to start in the United States and post in US dollars. Flights may operate after the booking deadline.
The offer may not appear on every card. Some cardholders see a $300 statement credit instead, which One Mile at a Time treats as weaker value. Codeshares and partner-operated ANA flights do not qualify. Third-party bookings and extras such as inflight Wi-Fi are excluded.
If the offer appears on more than one card, One Mile at a Time would add it to The Platinum Card from American Express to stack 5x points on airfare purchased directly from airlines. The same site values Membership Rewards at 1.7 cents each and puts the 30,000-point bonus at an incremental 8.5% return.
Add the offer to Platinum if it appears, and book a US-origin ANA ticket directly by November 30, 2026 only if the trip is already needed.
