What happened
Philippine Airlines plans to launch nonstop service between Manila (MNL) and Chicago O'Hare (ORD) starting November 9, 2026. The route will operate three times weekly (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays) with flight PR132 departing MNL at 4:40 PM and arriving ORD at 4:45 PM, and PR133 departing ORD at 10:45 PM and arriving MNL at 5:25 AM (+2 days). The 8,132-mile ultra long-haul flight is blocked at 14 hours 15 minutes to the US and 16 hours 40 minutes to the Philippines. Service will be operated by an Airbus A350-900 featuring 295 seats: 30 business, 24 premium economy, and 241 economy. Flights are currently on sale
