Hyatt has formally announced the Park Hyatt Taormina, its second property in Italy, expected to open in 2028. Located in Sicily, the 121-suite hotel will be a conversion of the existing Capo dei Greci property. The new luxury resort will feature private terraces with views of the Ionian Sea and Mount Etna, locally inspired dining, and a spa. This follows the earlier update to Hyatt's hotel pipeline in May 2025
