What happened
From October 2 to 18, 2026, Marriott Bonvoy members pay 20% less than the public standard room rate on prepaid Escapes bookings. Non-members are capped at 15%. LoyaltyLobby says the rate has to be booked by Sunday.
The stay is prepaid and cannot be changed or refunded, and it must be booked at least 5 days before arrival. Most hotels limit the deal to Thursday through Sunday, and a Thursday arrival requires a Friday night. Groups of 10 or more rooms do not qualify. Luxury and lifestyle brands are excluded, with further Asia-Pacific holdouts. Inventory is limited.
Member rates booked through Marriott directly still earn Bonvoy points. This is a cash discount rather than an award sale, so it only helps if a standard rate was already the plan and non-refundable terms are acceptable. Book by Sunday if those dates already work and the prepaid member rate beats both a flexible cash room and an award night.
