What happened
Linked Marriott Bonvoy and Starbucks Rewards members who complete three purchases of at least $2 each between September 21 and September 27, 2026 earn a one-time deposit of 500 bonus Bonvoy points. The promotion runs during Marriott Bonvoy Week. The points post once, within two business days after the window closes.
Both programs are free to join and the accounts have to be linked first. Food or drink orders qualify at participating U.S. Starbucks locations that award Stars, including U.S. territories, and merchandise counts as well. In-store scans of the Rewards barcode count, as do app and website orders paid with a card already on the account. Alcohol is excluded, as are digital and physical gift cards.
AwardWallet users redeem Bonvoy points at 0.93 cents each, which values the 500-point bonus at $5. It is a small extra, not progress toward a free night.
Link the accounts and complete three $2-plus purchases by September 27 only if Starbucks is already on the calendar.
