Effective July 1, 2026, Lufthansa Group airlines are charging Economy and Premium Economy passengers (excluding Flex fares and Senator/HON Circle members) to change their assigned seats during online check-in. Fees are dynamic

What happened

  • Passengers with Flex fares can still change seats for free.
  • Senator and HON Circle status holders can swap seats free of charge.
