What happened
Currensea is paying 50,000 Hilton Honors points, rather than the usual 15,000, to people who open the UK Hilton Honors Plus Debit Card by 7 September 2026.
The 50,000 points arrive as 20,000 after the first transaction and 30,000 more after £2,500 of foreign-currency spend within 6 months. That same spend adds 5 elite-qualifying nights. New cardholders get instant Hilton Honors Gold.
Foreign spend carries a 0.5% FX fee that Currensea added after Plus launched without one, and ATM withdrawals abroad add 2.5% above £500 per month. Fair-use limits and eligible-spend rules apply. The product is a UK bank-linked debit card.
Open the card only if £2,500 of foreign-currency spend is coming within 6 months.
