What happened
Hyatt has announced that the Grand Hyatt Victoria Falls The Kingdom will open in late 2027 in Zimbabwe. Located near the Victoria Falls rainforest and the entrance to Victoria Falls national park, the property will feature 245 guestrooms, three dining venues, a spa, fitness center, and over 19,000 square feet of meeting space. It will be Hyatt's second hotel in Zimbabwe, joining the existing Hyatt Regency Harare The Meikles. World of Hyatt members will be able to earn and redeem points at the new property, though specific redemption rates were not immediately clear
