What happened
Marriott Bonvoy Business American Express cardholders who receive a targeted Amex Offer can earn 5,000 bonus Bonvoy points after $3,000 of eligible spend through February 28, 2027. A card member can collect the bonus three times, up to 15,000 points. Eligible spend is ordinary purchases in US dollars at merchants that accept American Express, online or in store.
The offer is targeted and will not appear for every Marriott Bonvoy Business cardholder. Returns and credits reduce qualifying spend, and fees and cash equivalent purchases do not qualify. The bonus stacks on the card's usual earn rates.
Frequent Miler measures the bonus at an extra 1.67X and calls it worthwhile mainly when that volume was already headed to the card. If the offer appears, add it from Amex Offers and place planned purchases on the card in $3,000 increments before February 28, 2027.
