What happened
Frequent Miler received a targeted Chase offer that pays 1,000 Marriott Bonvoy points when $500 of purchases post in a calendar month from October through December 2026. The bonus can be earned in each of those months for as many as 3,000 points.
Cardholders must register between October 1 and October 14, 2026, by 11:59 p.m. Eastern. Only U.S. Marriott Bonvoy Chase cards issued before March 1, 2026 qualify, though account status can still block enrollment. Spend that posts in a later month does not count toward an earlier one, and leftover spend does not carry over. The offer is limited to the intended recipient.
The extra 2 points per dollar on exactly $500 of monthly spend is modest Marriott value. Register by October 14, 2026 if the offer appears, and leave spend that belongs on a stronger card where it is.
