Delta Air Lines announced it will launch nonstop service from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) in the Philippines, effective March 28, 2027. This will be Delta's first nonstop route between the U.S. mainland and the Philippines. The route will be operated by an Airbus A350-900 with up to 40 Delta One suites. Delta becomes the second airline and the first U.S. carrier to offer nonstop LAX-MNL service, joining Philippine Airlines and United Airlines (from SFO). This expansion is part of Delta's broader growth in the Pacific, following recent launches to Hong Kong and upcoming service to Melbourne. Executives cited high customer demand for Southeast Asian destinations as a key driver
