Delta Air Lines plans to equip its new Boeing 787-10 Dreamliners with a premium-heavy layout, with at least half of the seats designated as premium. This represents a shift from the 30% premium seating found on the aging Boeing 767s these jets will replace. The new aircraft are expected to start joining the fleet in 2031 and will likely serve transatlantic routes. While it remains to be seen if they will feature the next-generation Delta One product, the focus on upper-tier seats aligns with Delta's broader strategy of maximizing premium cabin space for profit margins
