Delta Air Lines has finalized an agreement with the city of Atlanta to construct a new Delta One Lounge in Concourse E at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL). The lounge will be located in the northeast corner of the concourse center point, between gates E14 and E27, and will not replace an existing Sky Club. It will be approximately 39,000 square feet, making it the second-largest Delta One Lounge, slightly smaller than the New York (JFK) location. Construction is expected to take 30 months from start, targeting an opening in 2029. The city will reimburse Delta up to $63 million for the construction costs. This expansion addresses the lack of a dedicated Delta One Lounge at Delta's largest hub, though timelines for similar lounges in Detroit, Minneapolis, and Salt Lake City remain undefined
