What happened
Copa Airlines, the largest carrier in Latin America without inflight connectivity, has announced a plan to introduce free Starlink Wi-Fi throughout its fleet of over 100 Boeing 737s. The airline states that installation will begin later this year, with reports suggesting a majority of the fleet will have the service by October 2026, though widespread completion may extend into 2027. This marks Copa as the first Latin American airline to commit to Starlink, offering high-speed, low-latency broadband gate-to-gate. The service will be free for passengers, addressing a long-standing downside of the carrier's product
