What happened
Citi and American Airlines are refreshing the Citi / AAdvantage Executive World Elite Mastercard, effective August 23, 2026. The annual fee increases from $595 to $695. Key changes include: up to $500 in American Airlines Vacations statement credits; up to $100 back on inflight and Admirals Club purchases; increased Lyft credits to $180 annually; earning rates on AAdvantage Hotels and Cars increased to 12 miles per dollar; Loyalty Point bonuses increased to up to 40,000; and new perks including complimentary Omni Hotels & Resorts Champion Status and Avis President's Club status
