Chase has updated the Chase Sapphire Preferred card to include a new bonus earning category for vacation homes. Cardholders will earn 3 points per dollar spent on bookings made directly with six select brands: Airbnb, Vrbo, Plum Guide, HomeAway, Homestay.com, and Vacasa. This rate applies specifically to direct bookings; booking through the Chase Travel portal yields 5x points. The update allows users to stack airline miles on these purchases, with eligible programs including ANA, British Airways, Delta, Qantas, JetBlue, United, and American Airlines.
