IHG Premier Business free night rises to 50,000 points in 2027

What happened

Chase is raising the anniversary free night on the IHG One Rewards Premier Business Credit Card to 50,000 points a night for certificates issued in 2027, up from 40,000.

Certificates issued through December 31, 2026 remain limited to 40,000 points. Each year the certificate is issued on the account anniversary and does not require any spend. Cardholders have 12 months from issuance to redeem it and finish the stay. Only a standard room and tax are covered. Properties priced higher can still be booked if extra IHG points are added. The increase does not apply to the personal IHG Premier Card. The business card carries a $99 annual fee, and Chase has not said whether that fee will rise.

Plan 2026 anniversary nights at the 40,000-point cap and wait for 2027 issuance before using the higher ceiling.
