What happened
Chase will lift the Sapphire Reserve for Business annual The Edit credit from $500 to $1,000 on January 1 and will cap 3X on social media and search advertising at $1 million from November 15, 2026. Chase is not raising the annual fee.
The $1,000 credit comes in $250 pieces. A 2-night minimum stay still applies. The Edit is Chase Travel's luxury hotel program for JPMorgan Reserve and Sapphire Reserve personal and business cardholders. Frequent Miler says The Edit rates often run above market and that these credits are among the hardest premium-card hotel credits to use.
Advertising purchases beyond the $1 million cap earn 1X. Nothing to register for; time advertising around the November 2026 3X cap and treat the extra Edit credit as usable only with a 2-night stay.
