What happened
Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business will raise its annual The Edit hotel credits from $500 to $1,000 on Jan. 1, 2027. The credits come in amounts of up to $250 and can be used throughout the year. They still apply only to The Edit stays of two nights or longer booked through Chase Travel. Chase says the extra credits are limited to the business card and do not apply to the personal Sapphire Reserve.
From Nov. 15, 2026, Chase will cap 3 points per dollar on social media and search advertising at $1 million of eligible spend per account anniversary year. Spend over that cap earns 1 point per dollar. Eligible advertising spend for the first cap year runs from Nov. 15, 2026 to the statement that carries the next annual fee. The cap then resets each anniversary year. Chase says few cardholders spend enough on ads for the cap to matter.
Use The Edit credits through the $1,000 maximum in 2027, and track advertising spend from Nov. 15, 2026 against the $1 million cap.
