What happened

Chase has officially confirmed that the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card's limited-time welcome offer of 100,000 bonus points will end on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 9 a.m. ET. The offer requires $5,000 in purchases within the first three months of account opening. This 100k bonus is notably higher than the card's standard 75,000-point offer, marking only the third time in the card's 17-year history that a public 100,000-point bonus has been available. Eligibility requires being under Chase's 5/24 rule and not having previously held the card or received its bonus
