British Airways Crews Can Now Rest In Empty First & Business Class Seats

British Airways has updated its crew rest policy, allowing flight attendants to occupy vacant First and Business Class seats on long-haul flights where aircraft lack dedicated crew rest bunks

What happened

British Airways has reportedly updated its crew rest policy to allow flight attendants to occupy empty seats in First and Business Class on long-haul flights. This change applies specifically to aircraft that do not have dedicated crew rest facilities, such as Boeing 787-10s and select Boeing 777-200ERs. On these flights, crews previously rested in galley jump seats. Under the new policy, crew can use any vacant passenger seat, provided they do not ask passengers to move. They are required to remove or cover uniform items and use provided bedding to blend in with the cabin environment
