What happened
Chase is paying a 30% bonus on Ultimate Rewards transfers to British Airways Avios until December 1, 2026. Iberia Club and Aer Lingus AerClub transfers are included. The standard 1:1 rate becomes 1:1.3.
The bonus is shown on Chase's transfer-partners page and typically posts instantly with the extra Avios. Transfers run in 1,000-point increments with a 1,000-point minimum. Avios can be moved to Qatar Privilege Club, where a Qsuite from the U.S. to Qatar costs 70,000 Avios one-way.
Off-peak Aer Lingus economy from the U.S. East Coast to Ireland is 13,000 Avios one-way. Off-peak Iberia business from Madrid to Boston is 40,500 Avios. A one-way award between the U.S. West Coast and Hawaii costs 22,000 British Airways Avios. British Airways metal often carries high carrier-imposed surcharges, and Iberia recently devalued business-class awards.
Move points by December 1, 2026 only for an award that can be ticketed now.
