What happened
Tock venues listed on Resy since Aug. 11 will start triggering American Express Resy statement credits at select U.S. locations on Sept. 15, 2026. The listings went live without credit eligibility. Amex said hundreds of U.S. Tock venues in major markets become eligible that day, with additional venues to follow.
Enrolled holders of cards that already carry a U.S. Resy credit are the ones affected. The benefit runs from a $10 monthly credit on Delta SkyMiles Platinum cards up to $100 each quarter on the Platinum Card. A reservation is not required to trigger the credit. The charge itself on an enrolled card at an eligible U.S. venue is what counts.
Resy shows a badge on venues that already qualify for the credit. Amex said the badge leaves the current eligible Resy restaurant list intact. Combined listings now cover more than 25,000 venues, but only select U.S. Tock locations will earn the credit.
Wait for Sept. 15 and the Resy badge before charging a Tock venue on an enrolled card, especially to spend unused third-quarter Platinum credit before Oct. 1.
