What happened
The Centurion Lounge at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol now closes at 6 PM daily rather than the 9:30 PM originally planned. The lounge opened on September 17, and the Amex app already shows the earlier time.
LoyaltyLobby reports that passengers on non-Schengen flights departing after 6 PM no longer have access. Many of those flights leave in the evening, among them services to the UK and parts of Africa. The earlier close appears aimed at U.S.-bound departures that have already left by then. A visitor was placed in a virtual queue while the lounge sat well under half full.
Confirm hours in the Amex app and do not count on the lounge for flights leaving after 6 PM.
