American Airlines opened an Instant Status Pass that gives select corporate AAdvantage members Gold for 4 months after approval and a path to Executive Platinum through March 31, 2028 if they earn 100,000 Loyalty Points in that window.
Registration is open through October 23, 2026 and requires a qualifying company email from a firm American has targeted. Gold starts when registration is approved, with a confirmation email within 24 hours. Loyalty Point goals in the 4 months determine whether Gold is kept or raised. Loyalty Points earned before approval do not count, and some activity can take 6 to 8 weeks to post. Flying is only one way to earn Loyalty Points. Other AAdvantage activity can count. The pass cannot be used for status equal to or lower than the level already held. Joining bars other Instant Status Pass promotions for 2 years. Status retained or earned lasts through March 31, 2028, covering the 2027 membership year.
