What happened
France hotel redemptions at ALL Accor now start at 1,000 Reward points for 20 euros off, after the program dropped a local 2,000-point floor worth 40 euros. LoyaltyLobby reports Accor has struck that higher minimum from its hotel redemption terms.
Points apply to accommodation or on-site expenses, all taxes included, and a stay cannot exceed one million Reward points redeemed at the hotel. The euro value per point did not change. Greater China still begins at 500 points for 10 euros off. The old 2,000-point floor had locked out members who earn slowly or stay at Accor infrequently.
A balance of 1,000 Reward points now spends on a stay or on-site expenses at Accor hotels in France.
