What happened
Alaska Airlines has updated its Atmos Rewards earning chart to remove points and status qualification on Saver fares (X class). For bookings made on or after June 11, 2026, for travel on or after August 1, 2026, Saver fares will earn 0% points. Previously, Saver fares earned 30% of miles flown. This follows industry trends set by Delta, American, and United, where basic economy fares often earn reduced or no miles/status for non-elites
