Air France Removes All Foreign Drinks in First & Business Class Except Coca-Cola

Air France is updating its premium cabin drink selection to focus exclusively on French brands, discontinuing non-French items like Schweppes and Sprite, with Coca-Cola as the sole exception

What happened

Air France has updated its onboard drink selection for First Class (La Premiere), Business Class, and lounges to showcase French products. The airline is discontinuing all foreign drinks, including Schweppes Tonic (owned by Suntory) and Sprite and Fuze Tea (owned by Coca-Cola). These are being replaced by organic fruit juices, iced teas, artisanal lemonades, premium French tonics, and a new ginger soda. Coca-Cola is retained as the only exception because it is a benchmark beverage in high demand among international customers, and the Coca-Cola served on flights departing France is produced in France. Additionally, the airline has introduced new cocktails by Matthias Girous, including an exclusive cognac creation in Business Class and a reinterpretation of kir cassis in Premium Economy and Economy
